Golf

Kauri Cliffs was designed and built by David Harman of Golf Course Consultants, Orlando, Florida. Kauri Cliffs is currently ranked #37 in the world by Golf Digest Top 100 Greatest Golf Courses in the World.

Spa Treatment

The Spa is nestled at the edge of a Totara forest, overlooking a verdant fern glen and winding stream. Each treatment room, including our couple’s room, has floor to ceiling views and opens onto a private outdoor patio with forest surroundings and native birdsong.

Land Based Fishing

Fishing is a religion around these parts. Join Kauri’s local guide at one of the beaches on the property and test your skill at hooking a snapper or kahawai.

Guided Walk

Kauri Cliffs have some beautiful walks on their 6000 acre property. These can include a visit to the Hikurua waterfall, Waiaua Bay, Pink Beach or Little Takou Beach—all magical spots to visit. This walk will be roughly 12kms

Horse Riding

We are pleased to offer equestrian adventures for all levels of riding ability. Ride with Kate Hewlett who has competed and placed in events such as the Burghley and Badminton Horse Trials and who was part of the New Zealand Olympic Team in 2004.Explore Kauri Station and its surrounds, picking your way through native forest and our working farm to the beach.

Kayaking

A guided sea kayaking experience from Waiaua Bay (private beach at Kauri Cliffs,) to the nearby Cavalli Islands is not to be missed.
